VISIT SOUTHLAKE WILL HOST A SELF GUIDED CULINARY TOUR OF SOUTHLAKE, SO FEATURING SOME RESTAURANTS ACROSS TOWN AND THEN ALSO SOME MARKETS THAT WE HAVE IN TOWN THAT ARE DEDICATED TO DIFFERENT TYPES OF FOODS WILL BE FEATURED ON VISIT SOUTHLAKE TEXAS.

AND THEN WE'LL WRAP UP THE WEEK BY HIGHLIGHTING AN ANNIVERSARY YEAR WITH SISTER CITIES AND OUR RELATIONSHIP WITH OUR SISTER CITIES ORGANIZATION AND ALSO THE BOB AND ALMEADY JONES DISPLAY THAT'S GOING TO BE ON DISPLAY AT THE BOB JONES NATURE CENTER.

AND WE'RE GOING TO CONTINUE TO IMPLEMENT THE RECOMMENDATIONS OF THAT PLAN.

OBVIOUSLY, THE EVENTS OF THE LAST YEAR HAS REALLY DEMONSTRATED OUR NEED TO REALLY LOOK AT WAYS THAT WE CAN HELP RECOVER OUR LOCAL ECONOMY.

AND THAT'S IN A NUTSHELL, WHAT THE 2035 MASTER PLAN ADDENDUM DOES.

THAT BEING SAID, THIS PLAN ITSELF OR THIS ADDENDUM IS NOT MEANT TO REPLACE THE ORIGINAL TWENTY 2016 MASTER PLAN.

IT'S MEANT TO SUPPLEMENT IT.

SO ALL THE PREVIOUS STRATEGIES THAT WE HAD IN PLACE WILL STILL CONTINUE TO BE IMPLEMENTED IN ADDITION TO THESE FOCUS AREAS THAT YOU SEE HERE ON YOUR SCREEN.

WITH THAT, OF COURSE, THERE'S ABOUT 35 RECOMMENDATIONS WITHIN THE PLAN ITSELF, ALL REALLY GEARED TOWARDS AND FOCUSED ON RECOVERY WITHIN THE NEXT TWO TO THREE YEARS THAT WE HAVE HERE. SO WITH THAT, I'LL OPEN IT UP FOR ANY QUESTIONS OF COUNCIL.

AND IT'S REALLY A MODEL FOR OTHER COMMUNITIES TO LOOK AT.

AND IT'S BECAUSE OF THE GREAT PLANNING WE'VE DONE OVER A NUMBER OF YEARS THAT WE ARE ABLE TO PIVOT AND MAKE, YOU KNOW, SOME DEREGULATION ADJUSTMENTS ON THE FLY.

AND, YOU KNOW, WE MADE UP THE COURT, THE ECONOMIC RELIEF COMMITTEE, AND THEN, YOU KNOW, WE MAKE A RECOMMENDATION ON A THURSDAY AND THE NEXT TUESDAY COUNCIL WAS ACTING ON IT.

SO YOUR TEAM REALLY LED THE WAY IN THAT REGARD.
