THAT'S WHAT WE FELT, THAT THERE IS DEFINITELY ROOM TO MAKE THINGS BETTER, AND THAT'S WHY WE PARTNERED UP WITH MR. ELLARD, WHO RUNS THE ROBOT LAB.

WE PARTNERED UP WITH HIM THIS YEAR.

WE BECAME THE FIRST FRANCHISEE FOR HIM AND WE HAVE TAKEN OVER THE DALLAS FORT WORTH METROPLEX.

THERE ARE FOUR MAIN AREAS THAT WE COVER.

FIRST IS THE CLEANING ROBOTS.

SO WE HAVE LARGE COMMERCIAL CLEANING ROBOTS THAT WILL COME AND MAP OUT THE WHOLE SURFACE THAT YOU WANT TO CLEAN INDOOR OR OUTDOOR.

WE HAVE DIFFERENT KINDS.

IT ALL DEPENDS ON WHAT YOU NEED.

THE SECOND AREA THAT WE COVER IS THE IS THE DELIVERY ROBOTS.

SO THEY COME SERVE.

SO YOU CAN PUT PLATES, YOU CAN PUT PACKAGES, ANY MATERIAL, CLOSED DOORS, OPEN DOORS.

SO WE HAVE A LOT OF VARIETIES IN DELIVERY ROBOTS TOO.

THE THIRD CATEGORY OF ROBOTS THAT WE HAVE IS MORE OF A HUMAN LIKE ROBOT THAT WILL STAND AND GREET YOUR CLIENTS, CUSTOMERS, YOU KNOW, PEOPLE YOU SERVE.

SO IT'S MORE INFORMATIONAL.

AND THEN THE FOURTH CATEGORY WOULD BE THE GUIDE ROBOT.

IT'S THINK OF THIS IF YOU'RE LOST AT AN AIRPORT OR IF YOU HAVE A LARGE CONVENTION CENTER AND YOU WANT PEOPLE TO BE ABLE TO INTERACT WITH THE ROBOT, AND MAYBE THAT ROBOT CAN ACTUALLY TAKE THAT CLIENT OF YOURS TO THE DESTINATION, THEY WANT TO GO.

I'M A LITTLE WORRIED I'M GOING TO BE REPLACED BY A ROBOT.

THOUGH IF THEY'RE GREETING PEOPLE.

I'M EXCITED TO BE HERE TO TALK ABOUT NATIONAL CUSTOMER SERVICE WEEK.

BEFORE I GET INTO THE WEEK ITSELF, I WANTED TO BRAG A LITTLE BIT ABOUT MY TEAM.

AND SO THE CUSTOMER SERVICE MATRIX TEAM STARTED IN OCTOBER OF 2020.

IT'S A CROSS DEPARTMENTAL TEAM THAT FOCUSES ON IMPROVING CUSTOMER SERVICE IN EVERY AREA THAT WE TOUCH.

OUR MISSION IS PRETTY BASIC.

IT'S TO IMPLEMENT A RESPONSIVE, TIMELY AND SUCCESSFUL CUSTOMER EXPERIENCE.

AND THERE'S A LIST OF SOME OF OUR ACCOMPLISHMENTS OVER THE LAST COUPLE OF YEARS, INCLUDING MAPPING OUR CUSTOMER INTERACTIONS, CREATING STANDARDS, CREATING SOME TRAINING MATERIALS. WE ACT AS A FOCUS GROUP FOR DEPARTMENTS THAT ARE LOOKING TO MAKE CHANGES THAT IMPACT THE CUSTOMER.

WE ALSO CREATED A CUSTOMER SERVICE LIAISON GROUP WHICH HELPS US GATHER FEEDBACK.

WE COORDINATE THE NATIONAL CUSTOMER SERVICE WEEK.

AND THEN WE'VE.

THIS TEAM HAS BEEN KEY IN IMPLEMENTING THE NEW SOUTHLAKE SERVICE TOOL.

SO NATIONAL CUSTOMER SERVICE WEEK STARTED IN 1987.

IN 1992, THE US CONGRESS PROCLAIMED CUSTOMER SERVICE WEEK AS A NATIONALLY RECOGNIZED HOLIDAY IS CELEBRATED THE FIRST WEEK OF OCTOBER, AND IT'S NOW BECOME AN INTERNATIONAL CELEBRATION, WHICH FOCUSES ON THE IMPORTANCE OF CUSTOMER SERVICE AND CELEBRATING THE PEOPLE WHO SERVE AND SUPPORT CUSTOMERS ON A DAILY BASIS.

IN LAST YEAR, IN 2022 WAS OUR FIRST YEAR CELEBRATING IT, AND WE PLANNED TO MAKE IT AN ANNUAL EVENT WITH FUN FILLED ACTIVITIES THAT REALLY HIGHLIGHT AND AGAIN, CELEBRATE OUR GREAT CUSTOMER SERVICE.

SO THIS YEAR THEIR THEME IS TEAM SERVICE, AND IT MEANS NO MATTER WHERE OUR TEAM MEMBERS ARE WORKING, WHAT THEIR TITLES ARE, HOW THEY SERVE CUSTOMERS, WE'RE ALL ON THE SAME TEAM AND WE ARE MORE SUCCESSFUL WHEN WE WORK AS A TEAM.

SOME OF THE THINGS THAT WE'RE DOING THIS WEEK ARE WE BECAUSE OF THE TEAM SERVICE THEME, WE'VE DECIDED TO DO A SERVICE PROJECT TO SUPPORT THE GRACE FOOD PANTRY.

SO WE'RE GATHERING FOOD ITEMS OVER THE NEXT COUPLE OF WEEKS.

WE'RE GOING TO HAVE A FUN POPCORN BAR FOR THE TEAMS AND THEN WE'RE HIGHLIGHTING SOME OF OUR SOUTHLAKE VALUES BY ASKING THE TEAMS TO CREATE SOME VIDEOS.

AND THEN WE HAVE A TEAM SPIRIT DAY PLANNED AS WELL, AND WE WILL SHARE SOME OF THOSE VIDEOS AND PHOTOS WITH YOU ON THE DAILY UPDATES NEXT WEEK.

THE SURVEY LAUNCHED YESTERDAY, OCTOBER 2ND, AND IT WILL BE OPEN UNTIL NOVEMBER 6TH.

SO A LITTLE OVER A MONTH EVERY TWO YEARS.

THE CITY COUNCIL SORRY, THE CITY OF SOUTHLAKE CONDUCTS A CITIZEN SURVEY TO MEASURE RESIDENTS SATISFACTION LEVELS WITH CITY SERVICES AND TO GATHER OPINIONS ON SPECIFIC POLICY QUESTIONS.

THE SURVEY RESULTS WILL PROVIDE COUNCIL AND STAFF WITH INFORMATION THAT WILL BE USED TO MAKE STRATEGIC DECISIONS IN VARIOUS AREAS, INCLUDING SERVICE IMPROVEMENTS AND ENHANCEMENTS, MEASURING AND TRACKING, INTERNAL PERFORMANCE, BUDGETING, POLICY MAKING, COMMUNICATION AND PLANNING.

THE SURVEY RESULTS WILL BE PUBLISHED IN EARLY 2024.

THE SURVEY IS MOBILE FRIENDLY AND CAN BE TAKEN FROM ANY DEVICE.

IT SHOULD ONLY TAKE ABOUT 10 TO 12 MINUTES TO TAKE THE COURSE SURVEY WITH ADDITIONAL OPTIONAL QUESTIONS THAT WOULD ADD ABOUT FIVE MINUTES TO THE TOTAL.

YOU'LL SEE SOME INCREASED ADVERTISING THROUGH THE OF THE SURVEY THROUGH VARIOUS CITY COMMUNICATION TOOLS SUCH AS THIS WEEK'S MINUTE WITH THE MAYOR.
