I'M A MEMBER OF THE ALLIANCE FOR COMMUNITY ENGAGEMENT COMMITTEE.

ONE OF OUR RESPONSIBILITIES AS A COMMITTEE IS HOSTING SPIN TOWN HALL FORUMS. THE PURPOSE OF SPIN IS TO GAIN FEEDBACK FROM CITIZENS ON DEVELOPMENT RELATED PROJECTS AND OTHER ITEMS OF INTEREST IN THE COMMUNITY.

SPIN IS AN INFORMATIONAL MEETING AND NO VOTES ARE TAKEN.

SPIN IS STREAMED LIVE THROUGH SOUTHLAKE TV ON THE CITY'S MAIN WEBSITE.

WWW.CITYOFSOUTHLAKE.COM. NEXT, WE WILL SHOW A BRIEF VIDEO INTRODUCTION OF THE SPIN PROGRAM BY SOUTHLAKE MAYOR SHAWN MCCASKILL.

[VIDEO] GOOD EVENING. THIS IS SHAWN MCCASKILL, THE MAYOR OF SOUTHLAKE, AND I WOULD LIKE TO WELCOME YOU TO TONIGHT'S SPIN MEETING.

FIRST OF ALL, SPIN STANDS FOR SOUTHLAKE PROGRAM FOR THE INVOLVEMENT OF NEIGHBORHOODS.

AND THAT'S WHERE YOU COME IN.

THIS IS THE FIRST STAGE IN OUR VERY THOROUGH AND EXHAUSTIVE REVIEW PROCESS FOR NEW DEVELOPMENTS HERE IN SOUTHLAKE, AND WE APPRECIATE YOU BEING PART OF THAT PROCESS.

TONIGHT YOU'LL HEAR A PRESENTATION FROM THE APPLICANT WHO'S LOOKING TO DO POSSIBLY A NEW DEVELOPMENT HERE IN SOUTHLAKE.

YOU WILL GET A CHANCE TO ASK QUESTIONS, BUT THERE WILL NOT BE ANY VOTES TONIGHT THAT WILL COME LATER WITH THE PLANNING AND ZONING COMMISSION AND CITY COUNCIL.

WE LOOK FORWARD TO HEARING YOUR COMMENTS AND GETTING A REPORT ON WHAT IS DISCUSSED TONIGHT AS WE GO THROUGH THIS REVIEW PROCESS AT THE PLANNING AND ZONING AND CITY COUNCIL LEVELS. YOUR INPUT, BOTH FOR AND AGAINST A PROPOSED DEVELOPMENT IS ESSENTIAL AS WE LOOK AT WHAT OUR RESIDENTS THINK WHEN WE'RE MAKING OUR DECISIONS.

[2. SPIN2024-12 - An applicant is proposing an approx. 32,000 sq. ft. three-story medical office building adjacent to Methodist Southlake Hospital located at 451 E. State Highway 114 within SPIN Neighborhood #7.]

AUSTIN BAIRD IS HERE TO PRESENT OUR ONLY ITEM ON THE AGENDA THIS EVENING, WHICH IS SPIN 2024-12.

AN APPLICANT IS PROPOSING AN APPROXIMATELY 32,000 SQUARE FOOT, THREE STORY MEDICAL OFFICE BUILDING ADJACENT TO METHODIST SOUTHLAKE HOSPITAL, LOCATED AT 451 EAST STATE HIGHWAY 114 WITHIN SPIN NEIGHBORHOOD NUMBER SEVEN, MR. BAIRD. HI, I'M AUSTIN BAIRD, WITH BAIRD, HAMILTON AND BROWN REPRESENTING CASTLE DEVELOPMENT FOR THIS NEW MEDICAL OFFICE BUILDING PROJECT LOCATED AT STATE HIGHWAY 114 AND WHITE CHAPEL ROAD.

WE'RE PROPOSING A ROUGHLY 32,000 SQUARE FOOT MOB ON 2.6 ACRES OF DEVELOPED LAND AT THE METHODIST SOUTHLAKE MEDICAL CENTER CAMPUS.

THE PROJECT IS PROPOSING TO DEVELOP THE THREE STORY, 32,000 SQUARE FOOT BUILDING ADJACENT TO EXISTING ACCESS AND UTILITY EASEMENTS AND DETENTION FACILITIES THAT WERE PREVIOUSLY PROVIDED AS PART OF THE MASTER PLAN DEVELOPMENT.

THE BUILDING IS PROPOSED TO BE COMPLEMENTARY TO THE EXISTING CAMPUS FACILITIES IN MATERIALS, TEXTURES AND FACADE.
